On Friday, November 29th, the Uweza Women’s Soccer team took to the field for a friendly match at Toi Primary School in Kibera, all in support of the #EndPeriodPoverty campaign.
The event was made even more special thanks to the generous donations from KOFISI Members and Kenya Charity Sweepstake, who provided over 2,000 sanitary pads. These contributions will help sustain the campaign and support young girls for up to five years.
This heartwarming collaboration highlights the power of community support and with the festive season upon us, it’s a great reminder of the many ways we can spread holiday cheer and make a difference.
