KOFISI Africa officially launched the KOFISI Art Gallery, with the opening night of ‘Force Field’, a striking and thought-provoking pop-up exhibition curated in collaboration with One Off Contemporary Art Gallery.
Set within their new groundbreaking KOFISI Kaskazi Centre in Westlands, the event drew Nairobi’s creative, corporate and cultural communities to witness a powerful new chapter in the fusion of contemporary African artistry and future-focused workspace design.
The exhibition features compelling works by some of Kenya’s most acclaimed artists like Richard Kimathi, Peterson Kamwathi, Kaloki Nyamai, Beatrice Wanjiku, Peter Ngugi and more. This pop-up is the first in a series of a rotating programme of exhibitions, installations and cultural events at KOFISI.
KOFISI Art is a transformative platform designed to amplify local and regional talent across the continent while integrating artistic expression into the core of modern workplaces.
By curating, exhibiting and facilitating the sale and leasing of exceptional artwork across all its locations in the continent, KOFISI is positioned to be a key player in the African art scene.
The KOFISI Gallery launch also builds on a strategic partnership between KOFISI and Workshop17, which provides both their Members access to the largest connected network of collaborative and premium workspaces present in Africa’s major cities and all four regions of the continent.
Through engagements with their large community of multinational enterprises, modern professionals and investors, KOFISI Art and Workshop17 Gallery are cultivating a new generation of collectors—providing essential visibility and commercial pathways for local and regional talent.
“We’re building a platform that brings culture into conversation with commerce and creates room for African creatives to be seen, celebrated and supported.” Kui Wachira, KOFISI Gallery Manager
KOFISI Art is not a gallery in the traditional sense. It is a living platform where art, business and community intersect.
By integrating art directly into the environments where people work and collaborate, we’re reinforcing our belief that creativity is not just decoration, but a driver of innovation, identity and enterprise.
The ‘Force Field’ Pop-up exhibition is open to the public and runs from 3rd until 31st July 2025 at KOFISI Kaskazi along General Mathenge Drive in Westlands, Nairobi.
