This month we are celebrating African Arts and Culture and highlighting the work of one of Kenya’s most celebrated artists. Dame Magdalene Odundo, the first Kenyan to be knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, for her services to arts and education now lives in the UK, with some of her pieces selling for up to $500,000.
